5. Teaching Practice



1.1 Procedures of teaching

1. Making lesson plan 
    Before implementing classroom learning, first I made a lesson plan given to my mentor to be evaluated whether it is correct that there is something to be improved.
2. Carrying Out Learning
    After creating a lesson plan then implementing learning in accordance with what has been planned.
3. Carrying out Evaluation
    Evaluation here aims to measure the extent to which students are able to master the material that has been conveyed. My evaluation is an analysis of the phenomena that occur around his life.


1.2 Time management and organizing activities

In JHS of UST, every lesson has 1: 15 hours. in one class. I have to divide that for motivation 10 minutes, lesson development 40 minutes, synthesis 10 minutes, application or value 15 minutes.

1.3 Problem-Solving

The teacher gives a problem to students, solving the problem is done by a discussion method. students will convey their own opinion. and in the last teacher have to make a summary of that.


1.4  Classroom management

There are 46 pupils in one class. sometimes teachers make a group or divide students into two groups. first is a group of achievement and second is a group, not achievement. so that we can know who students easy to learn and students not easy to learn. 


My overall impression in teaching that is so big experience, I can teach them. the smart students in the Philippines. sometimes I am amazed and shock with that subject. it's like poetry, that lesson it so more advanced than in Indonesia. I just learn about poetry in my college. but here in the Philippines, they are grade 7 was learn about that. but here so jubilant and comfortable.
